Devin Shea
Aug. 17, 1975 - Nov. 3, 2016
Devin Shea Kennedy-Puthoff, 41, was born in Palo Alto, CA, the first of five children of Hal Puthoff and Adrienne Kennedy-Puthoff. Devin and his family moved to Texas in 1985. He graduated from Westlake High School in 1994. Devin is survived by his parents; sister Alexa Jones-Puthoff, Laurel, MD; brothers Brendan Puthoff and Collin Puthoff, both of Austin; brother Gavin Puthoff, St. Louis; half-brother Jeff Moore, Chicago; and nine nieces and nephews.
Family and dear friends from all phases of his life describe him as brilliantly creative, spontaneous, fiercely independent and tenacious in his quest to create a life of meaning, humility, and beauty. Devin is remembered for unique kindness, contagious laughter and original songs shared whenever a piano or a guitar was at hand.
Funeral Mass will be 2p.m., Saturday, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, West Lake Hills, immediately followed by a reception celebrating Devin's life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts to NAMI Austin, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, or the American Diabetes Association.

Broken hearted to hear the sad news.
