Don Morris Farmer

Don Morris Farmer, 77, of Johnson City, Texas passed away August 11, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. He was born June 11, 1948, in Austin, Texas to Emmit and Lanora Wigley Farmer.
On August 9, 1969, Don married Jessie Smith, and together they raised two daughters. A proud member of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 286. In 1984 Don opened and operated Don's Grass and Landscape until retiring in 2016 and moved to Johnson City, Texas. He loved family reunions, fish frys, dancing, games, fishing trips to the coast and annual hunting trips to Colorado.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jessie; daughters Laura Farmer and Candice Farmer; grandson Kevin Farmer; brother Gene Farmer of Cedar Park; sister Cherry Smith of Bastrop; sister-in-law Sherry Farmer of Colorado; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Emmit and Lanora Farmer; sisters Mildred Raff and Louise Barfield; brother Dewey Farmer; Sister in-law Gayle Farmer and Brother in-laws Carl Raff, Paul Barfield and Bobby Smith.
Memorial service will be held on August 30th, 2025 at 11:00am at Liberty Lighthouse Church 321 Old River Crossing, Johnson City, Texas 78636
