Donetta and Larry are the best neighbors anyone could ever have. When we lived in Austin and our boys were babies, they were so kind to us. Erin, we are truly sorry for your loss...thank you for keeping us informed. God bless you.

We were so saddened to hear of Donetta's (and Larry's)passing. They were such a joy to be around and so easy to talk with. We met them when we all began investing together and were blessed to have called them friends.

To the Family of Mrs McWilliams;
My heart was saddened to read of the homegoing of Mrs McWilliams. I've never met anyone in my life with the same first name as me. I thought that my parents just made it up and noboby else would ever be found with such a name as "Donetta", but to my surprise.....There came Mrs Donetta Chastian McWilliams, a beautiful woman. Let her now rest in the Lord forever. Amen. Family be blessed until we see her again in the arms of Jesus. Amen.

Donetta truly captured the phrase "Courage Under Fire". With all her trials of this past year, she still was able to generate a smile for friends. Even though she could not express in words her thoughts and feelings, we could still feel her understanding through her eyes and hugs. Donetta McWilliams was truly one of a kind.

Erin, I am so sorry for your loss. I was friends with your mother when you lived in Austin. I was a teacher at Hill Elementary where you attended school for a while. Through the years we lost touch, but I remember your mom fondly. She had such a sweet personality and you knew that you would have a fun time when you were with Donetta. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Erin, I was deeply saddened to hear that your Mother and my friend passed on. I will always remember Donetta's laugh...it was truly contaigous. No matter how hard you tried...you could not help but join her in laughter. Talk about a "sunny side up" personality. I think by the word sunshine in Webster Dictionary...there should be Donetta's picture. Enjoy life to the fullest as she did. My thoughts and prayers are for you and your family. Donetta was a treasured friend. She had a vibrant spirit and inspired others with her energetic and positive attitude. I appreciated her ability to focus and her determined mind on things she wanted to accomplish. She lived engagingly and fully in all activities. I could count on her to give me good and caring advice. She will be greatly missed. Her loving friend, Mary Trippet McCarthy
