Not only was Mr. Ramsey Westlake's #1 fan, he was also our very favorite bus driver for many years. He was always so kind and patient. The Ballew family loved this precious man so much and we will all miss him! Mrs. Ramsey, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jan,
Len and I were sorry to hear of Ed's passing. We enjoyed talking with Ed at the aerobics class luncheons and at the Y. We will always remember him as one of the "nice guys." We hope that the good memories of Ed will sustain you through this difficult time.

My wife Patsy and I really enjoyed getting to know Ed and Jan. It was a pleasure to go on our Westlake Football trips with Ed and Jan-all the players and families admired Ed for his dedication to the Chaps, their
families and Coaches. We will miss our friend, "Mr. Football", but know that Ed's spirit will always be with
Westlake High on Friday night.

Heaven just gained a really special angel! We will really miss Mr. Ramsey in the stands and on the practice fields. He knew the boys by name and was truly their biggest fan!

Westlake football will not be the same without Mr Ramsey. He LOVED the game and the boys and was always there to encourage them. He always believed in the team and was there to high five them after practices and games. His presence and friendship will be greatly missed. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting next to him during practices to hear his thoughts and predictions. Bus rides were fun too! He was always so positive, even when in the hospital. Mr Ramsey will live forever in the hearts of those he touched...and that is a lot of hearts!!! Our prayers are with you Mrs Ramsey.

Ed Ramsey was the consummate Westlake Chaps football fan! I spent many afternoons with him watching practices. He was friends with so many players. He always had a kind word of encouragement. The Kronberg Family

Mr. Ramsey was a wonderful man in so many ways! I will never forget when he was driving the bus our son was on when he attended kindergarten. Our son was going to cross the street in front of the bus and Mr. Ramsey had the stop signs out and the lights flashing and as my son started across the street a car came speeding around the bus and if it hadn't been for Mr. Ramsey watching so carefully and honking the horn to stop our son from crossing he would probably not be here today. Mr. Ramsey saved his life and everytime we had the pleasure of seeing him, he would ask how is "Little Rob". He was a fine man and he is missed so much.
