Ellaig Craig Obituary

(10/16/2003) Ellaig Lee Craig passed away on October 14, 2003. He was born on April 4, 1921, in McDade, Texas, to Courtney and Berte Mundine Craig. Mr. Craig served in the Army in World War II and returned home to a long career in the resturant business in and around the Austin area. Mr. Craig is survived by his wife, Elnora Craig of Elgin; his son, Norris Craig; and granddaughter, Brittany Craig of Austin; stepson, Carroll Mixon and wife of Austin; step- granddaughters, Jennifer Mixon and husband, Justin of Brenham, Michelle Mixon Wenzel and husband, Hugh of Elgin; stepdaughter, Linda Mixon Van Zandt and husband, Khleber of St. Louis, Missouri; stepgrandson, Tony Gongalez and wife, Robin of Ann Arbor, Michigan; step- granddaughters, Kathy Gonzalez of Springfield, Missouri, and Julie Gonzalez of Chicago; and stepgrandson, John Gonzalez of Saint Louis; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be Thursday, October 16, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at the Elgin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Krenek, Dennis Craig, Mercele Craig, Marvin Craig, Wilford Preusse and Larry Hodde.
