Eric Paul Schultz
Austin - Eric Paul Schultz of Austin, TX, went home on July 3, 2021, to be with the Lord. Eric was born on February 11, 1945 in Atlanta, GA to Eunice Houston and Philip Schultz. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and teacher.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran that served during the Vietnam War. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Eric was a beloved high school teacher at Westlake High School in Austin for 26 years. Following his retirement from Westlake, Eric taught GED classes at the Kyle Correctional Center for 14 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Linda Joyce Schultz. He is survived by his three loving children and their spouses, Stephen and Kristy Schultz and Lydia and David Willingham, both of Buda, TX, and Jason and Cami Schultz of Washington, and 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother and wife, Joe and Patty Schultz and sister, Donna Van Stralen.
A service honoring the life of Eric Schultz will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 4600 Menchaca Road, Austin, TX, 78745.
