San Marcos - ERIC DESHAWN STRAIT 24, of San Marcos, died Thursday, April 8th. He was born in Austin, Tx on June 28, 1996, a son of Earon Tasby and Jennifer Strait. The Family Celebration of his Life Service will be 4PM on Saturday, April 17th at Grant AME Worship Center. Public Viewing, 3PM-6PM on Friday, April 16th at Freedom Home Baptist Church. Flowers can be delivered to ALCBF, 1309 E. 12th Street. Go to www.alcbf.com for greater information. This Great Celebration will be a Personal Signature Service under the Professional Guidance of Dr. Barry J.W. "The Shepherd" Franklin, CFSP at A Life Celebration by Franklin who will fulfill his final earthly celebration with great excellence.

To Eric Family may the Lord bless and keep the family strong in this time of brevement, may Eric soul rest in peace. Eric was such a fine young man always very polite and very mannerable. Eric went to school with my grandson Tyler, Eric and Tyler played basketball with the Texas Extreme Team under my son coach Smith. Eric has stayed at our home on many occasions we loved Eric so very much he was part of our family, we will miss Eric, Eric called me Mamo like my grand kids and all of their friends called me. To Eric Family remember God love beautiful ❤ flowers also and he picked the best. Eric may your soul rest in peace and peace be with your family .
