I have known Frank for more years than I want to acknowledge. He was a wonderful friend. Highly principled. He left the world a better place and will be missed.

I express my sincere condolence on the passing of former Austin, Texas mayor Frank C. Cooksey, to his wife Lynn Cooksey and other family members. I had the honor of having met Mr. Cooksey at his home several times and doing landscaping on his property. I also had the pleasure and honor of having worked as co-worker with Mrs. Cooksey at the Texas Education Agency. May our Heavenly Father's love, peace, joy, and blessings remain always with the Cooksey family. And indeed may Mr. Cooksey's memories always be true blessings to all of us. He will always be remembered for having honorably served his family, city, state, and country to highest standards. May he rest in peace!
