I remember you as Freddie when I just move to US, and you were about 10 years old. We spent some time in Midland Odessa with you. You and I used to go look for rattle snake and had lots of fun and laugh. You were kind, smart and caring little boy and I do miss you. Rest in peace my dear friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and family. M.H

Dear Fredrick,
You were there for me at a very important time in my life. Although our time was cut short you and your words helped me maintain my course in my journey. I feel horrible for not finding out about your passing almost a year later. It does pain me truly. So many times i wanted to stop by and say hi but for stupid reasons never did. You will me missed.

Frederick, my dear friend and colleague, thank you for your contagious laughter and your radiant, joyful personality. I look forward to sharing my lunch again with you in heaven where there will be no more pain, no more suffering...we will skip on those streets of gold while laughing and eating lots of bon-bons! I'm so sad I didn't get to see you one more time before God called you to your heavenly home. I look forward to seeing you in heaven, Frederick!

To the Bentley family, I just heard of Fred's passing today and I want to send my deepest condolences. Fred and I were the best childhood friends back in El Paso, hanging out at eachothers houses in the old neighborhood off of Sanders. As we grew older we lost touch, but were able to see eachother in Austin after he moved there. I will hold all memories of him dear; he will be missed by all that knew him.

I learned of your passing yesterday at our favorite meeting place. I was deeply saddened nothing could have prepared me. You were a fixture in the lives of many. I will always remember your dedication and commitment to the cause. I can still hear your laugh, be delighted by your smile, positive energy and that witty humor. Blessed god placed you in my path, for that I am eternally grateful. I will honor the memory of you always and remember how fragile our journey is.

I will miss you my dear friend.

Love you,

FREDERICK, OF ALL THE BEAUTIFUL THINGS YOU POSSESSED, YOUR MOST PRECIOUS POSSESSION WAS YOUR ABILITY TO TEACH OTHERS TO LOOK AT THE BRIGHT SIDE OF THEIR LIVES AND YOUR TALENT TO SEEK OUT THE GOOD IN ALL PEOPLE. I HAVE PLACED FLOWERS AND A PICTURE OF PARIS ON THE FENCE AT THE RESTSTOP OVER LOOKING THE HILL COUNTRY WHERE WE STOPPED ON OUR DRIVE TO CANYON LAKE. YOU WERE SO TOUCHED BY THE MEMORIALS TO PEOPLE THERE. YOU AND YOUR TEACHINGS WILL BE IN MY HEART FOREVER.
