Gina MENDEZ Obituary
35, of Austin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015. She was born in Brownsville, Texas on September 14, 1980.
Gina Yvonne Mendez graduated from Lopez High School and she worked at Midnight Lighting as a Lighting Engineer. She was a member of Tombstone Union Heavy Metal Band and she had a passion for Rock Music.
Gina is survived by her two children, Johann Benjamin Jew, Jocelyn Paige Jew, her parents, Raul and Anna Marie Mendez, her siblings, Laura Singleterry (Freddie), John Benjamin Mendez (Jasmine) and Sonny Mendez (Heather) and many friends and family.
Memorial Services will be conducted at four o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 2nd of January 2016, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752.

Gina was an amazing woman. I was one of her students when I was in high school, and she was the one who inspired me to live out my dreams and keep singing. I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for Gina. I was so sad to hear the news, and my heart and prayers go out to her family and friends.
