James Miller Obituary

James William Miller, 90, of Austin, TX, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025. He was born May 22, 1935 in Akron, OH to Katherine Gallagher Miller and Marvin Henderson Miller. The family moved to Austin, TX and built their home of over 70 years at 2004 Griswold Lane. Jim graduated from Austin High and The University of Texas. He married Judith Hatterman and had daughters Melissa and Jennifer. He divorced and never remarried. He enjoyed music, the Dallas Cowboys and maintaining a beautiful yard. Jim is survived by his daughters Melissa Miller Trent and Jennifer Miller, granddaughters Christine, Katie and Scarlett, great-grandchildren Daphanie, Versailles "Sai", Frida, Logan, Carra and Shawn.

I´m so sorry for your loss. Jim was a great friend and neighbor, always quick to lend a hand in the yard or share a story. We´ll miss Jim but remember his sense of humor, his meticulously kept lawn and of course from when we´d first moved in, seeing him roaming the neighborhood with his sweet dog Luna.
