Jere was a customer at my shop on Burnet Rd during the 1990's. A sweet & pleasant lady at all times, and many times accompanied by her son, a child then. The nature of her ways makes her one of the many people whose memories have crossed my mind now and then, and among those I missed since moving my business, and later leaving Austin. My prayers offered for all her family and friends.

Full of energy, passion, and an electric smile, Jere was a joy to be around. We loved joining her and her family and collection of great friends for a shared meal, and wonderful conversation. Unforgettable. Love you always Jere.

I didn't get to know Jere until the last year of her life, but the example she set for fearlessly living her life, loving her friends and family and speaking her truth made a big impact on me. My life was enriched by knowing her. Best wishes to Sarabeth, Gus, Bryce, all her family and friends and kudos to Chrisopher House for caring for her so well during her last months.

Jere was an amazing human being. I will always remember Jere the Jester at Gus' magic shows. My strongest memory of her comes from the Magic Camp for Grown-Ups. We had a puppet prompt of the worst day of our lives. She recounted the tale of her house burning down and having to walk in the freezing rain so that here hair froze to her back. And yet she managed to turn the awful day into a joyous, humorous show. Her biggest achievement by far in Gus and Bryce. She loved those boys into amazing men. She will be deeply missed
