Family-Placed Obituary

Jerry Dean Wright, age 66, of Round Rock, TX, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2004, in Austin, after a short illness. He was born on January 8, 1938, in Wichita, KS, to Fred Ellsworth Wright and Mildred Elizabeth Bacus. Jerry was a Veteran having served his country as a Major in the United States Army and was presently a Senior Safety Inspector for the State of Texas. Jerry is survived by his wife of 19 years, Karin Wright of Round Rock, TX; daughter, Brenda Wright of Davenport, FL; sons, Brian Wright and wife, Melissa of Portland, OR and David Wright and wife, Lisa of San Diego, CA; step-son, John Fegley and wife, Sue of Vacaville, CA; sister, Marilyn Gibbs and husband, John of Aberdeen, SD; grandsons, Tyler, Joshua, and Gary; granddaughters, Sophia and Savannah. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1440 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607. Jerry was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
