Of Westwood and Dennisport, Nov. 26th, at the Brigham & Women's Hospital. Son of the late Anna and Patrick Fallon, he joins the late Evelyn Pearl Fallon in heart and soul. He leaves his beloved daughter Karen Danea Fallon and sons Paul and Joseph Fallon. He unites with his son, the late Stephen Fallon. He also leaves his 3 brothers, Thomas Fallon, Danny Fallon and Jack Fallon, his 3 grandchildren Sheralyn, Chase, and Brendon Fallon. He shall miss two very close friends, James Maxwell, like a brother to him, and Carole Maxwell, like a sister and his longstanding pal James Brennon and wife Ellen Brennon. Also very special to him and who gave him great comfort, Bailey the dog he called "little man". Greatly missed will be his cousin Maria Flanagan and extended family and Willie and Alison Dolan all from Sydney, Australia, Catherine Dolan, Dan and Mary Naughton, Raymond and Kathy Fallon, Bert and Mary Fallon, Adrian and Sabrina Fallon, Anthony Fallon and many other wonderful relatives from Ireland, his other home. Karen and Joe give great thanks to Dr. Oh, Sandra Kelly and Bruce MacDonald for their love and support. Joe Fallon was a realtor in West Roxbury for 41 years. He was a member of the National Assoc. of Realtors, Rental Housing Assoc. and Mass. Assoc. of Realtors. He served on multiple committees and offices throughout his extensive career. He was president of the Kiwanis Club, active in the Parkway Boys Club, Police Assoc. and too many other charitable organizations, too many to list. For many years he was a member of the Executive Men's Health Club and was a competitive runner in many marathons. A few of his hobbies included sailing, reading, and being involved in all sports. He hated to miss a baseball or football game. The outdoors gave him inspiration and he had a great appreciation for flowers and animals. He believed in values, honesty and integrity and always keeping his word of gold. He never gave up on anyone or anything, including himself. To him success was determined by those you love and those who love you. The ocean was his passion where he felt most content walking by Swan River in Dennisport, Cape Cod where he now smiles and rests in peace. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his Funeral Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Christ, 1541 Washington St., Canton. Interment in New Westwood Cemetery.
