Juan Cerda Obituary

Juan Olivo Cerda Juan Olivo Cerda passed away on June 15, 2011. Preceded in death by father Victor Cerda and mother Bonnie Olivo Cerda and his son Johnny Ray Cerda. He served our country in the U. S. Navy from 1961-1970, worked 33 years at the United States Postal Services before he retired. Juan enjoyed writing poetry, loved music and the TX Longhorns! Juan was born Nov. 16, 1943 in San Marcos, TX. He is survived by his wife, Pam M. Cerda; his children, Sharon, Tommy and Juan Jr. Cerda, Cynthia Ann Kinchion, Jesse Nino and Brianna Cruz; 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Mission Serenity on S. 1st in Austin, TX at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011.

Juan was a good friend, he wrote many beautiful poems for his brother and his friend Linda. Fly with the Lord Juan. Now you are reunited with your loved ones in heaven. I will miss your poems and emails.
