Julia Barkley Obituary
Julia "Julie" Jo Barkley Julia "Julie" Jo Barkley, age 54, of Austin died Wednesday, August 8, 2007. She was a very proud graduate of William B. Travis High School and The University of Texas. Survivors are sisters, Carolyn Barkley and husband Tom Painter and Janet Barkley-Booher and husband Hubert Booher all of Austin; four nieces, Lynn Leifker, Karen Booher, Belynda Montgomery and Melissa Jistel. The family sends special thanks to the many friends that helped Julie with her healthcare needs for many years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Milestones Foundation, P.O. Box 3211, Austin, Texas 78764 % Beverly Scarborough. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, TX. I am so sorry for her untimely passing, but will always be grateful for the short time I was able to spend with her and renew our relationship as cousins when she was visiting here nearly two years ago.
