Family-Placed Obituary

Kelly Anne Harrington, born July 25, 1958, was the victim of a homicide in Dallas, TX, on October 7, 2004. Kelly attended LBJ High School in Austin, Texas, and graduated in 1976. She served her country in the United States Air Force. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Martin Harrington, III. Kelly is survived by her parents, Gail and James M. Harrington, Jr.; sisters, Lori L. Butler and husband David, Marybeth Hubenak and husband L. Jeffrey; brother, Michael James Harrington and wife Cindy; four nieces, that were the lights of her life, Ashley Ford Butler, Amanda Leigh Butler, Holly Michelle Hubenak and Reagan Anne Harrington; and five nephews, Ryan James Harrington, Zachary Lad Hubenak, Reed Chase Harrington, John Patrick Butler and James David Butler. Kelly was deeply loved by her family and we know she is in God's loving arms and has found peace. We ask that you keep her in your prayers. A Memorial Service will be held October 11, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, TX. A private interment will be at a future date at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno, CA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her name to Marywood Children and Family Services, 510 West 26th Street, Austin, Texas 78705. John II: 25-26 He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.

My condolences to the Harrington family. I knew Kelly from Reagan and drill team and although I haven't seen her in almost 30 years, the memories of her smile and spunkiness rushed back. I am truly saddened by your tragic loss and will keep your family and her memory in my thoughts and prayers.
