Marilyn Fess Obituary

Marilyn Ann Fess Marilyn Ann Fess, 66, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away March 23, 2009. She fought a tough battle with cancer and will always be remembered for her courage and perseverance. She was at home with her loving family when she went to be with the Lord. She was born February 1, 1943, in Madison, Wisconsin, to Harold and Evelyn Takle. She married David Phillip Fess, in Madison, Wisconsin, on January 9, 1965. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, David Fess; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Paul Schmidt; grandchildren, Jordyn, Camryn, and Peyton of Austin, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Brenda Fess; grandchildren, Lindsey and Caroline of Baytown, Texas; her mother, Evelyn Takle of Milwaukee, WI; sister, Nancy Hebert of Richmond, VA; sister, Cheryl Engibous of New Berlin, WI, and many nieces. Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Harold Takle, and her brother, David Takle. A memorial service to remember Marilyn and celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2009, at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church, 9508 Great Hills Trail, Austin, Texas. The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the many people who cared for Marilyn at Texas Oncology and to the wonderful people at Hospice Austin for their guidance and counseling.
