Marilyn Maner Obituary

(10/18/2003) Marilyn Kay Maner, age 48, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on October 10, 2003, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born August 4, 1955, in Lake Charles, LA, to Constance and Rolland Schroeder. Marilyn was a resident of Leander for the past 25 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Constance and brother, Brian Schroeder. Marilyn is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 28 years, Joe Maner and sons, Christopher and James; father, Rolland Schroeder of Austin; brother, Gary Schroeder of San Jose, CA; sisters, Sandra Nix of Houston and Lisa Mounsif of Austin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marilyn had a tender sweet soul, full of love and life. Marilyn touched so many lives and will be deeply missed. A heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff of Hospice Austin for the support they have given us through this difficult process. A memorial service to celebrate Marilyn's life will be held November 1st at 2:00 p.m. at VFW Post 8200, 102 West Myrtle Lane, Liberty Hill, 78642. (Casual attire please.)
