Matthew always had a smile on his face and time for everyone. I was in Food Service at TSBVI from the early 1980 When ever our Homemade Gingerbread was on the menu we knew Matthew would be down to see us. After he retired if we knew he would be in the building we would put it on the menu just for him. I was blessed to have known Matthew.
You made a difference in so any lives! God Speed

Matthew was my supervisor at the Texas School for the Blind (mid-1980s - 1989). He was kind and thoughtful and fun and smart and interesting. Thank you, Matthew, for all you've taught me. And for all you've given for so many blind Texans over the years. You will be missed.
