Michael Jefferies Obituary

Michael Edward Jefferies (Mike) Michael Edward Jefferies (Mike) of Kyle, Texas, born October 31, 1964, in New Braunfels, Tex., and went home with the angels on January 13, 2010. He is preceded in death by his Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, and Father-in-Law. Mike graduated from Bastrop High School in 1983 and worked as an electrician for the past 26 years. He was passionate about his work and used his skills to help many friends, family, and anyone who needed help. Mike loved his family whole-heartedly and had a special place for the children in his life. Mike enjoyed grilling, family gatherings, and all outdoor sports, especially fishing the Texas Coast. He was always the one to catch the "Big One" when others could not even get a bite. He enjoyed relaxing and sunning at the beach or by the pool, and watching the sunset with his wife and best friend Eloisa. Mike was the biggest fan of the Texas Longhorns which was evident to all who knew him because the majority of his wardrobe was burnt orange, and listening to "The Eyes of Texas" on the radio at noon was part of his daily routine. Mike was a loyal friend to all who knew him and he lit the world with his beautiful smile and warmed the hearts of many with his love and generous heart. Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and cousin is survived by his wife Eloisa Jefferies, Step-Children Matthew, Chris and Brittney, Step-Grand Children Jesse, Justin, Sadie, Lily, and Alex, Parents Ronald Jefferies, Sr. and Elsie Mae Jefferies, Sister Janet Owen, Brother Ronnie Jefferies, Jr., Nieces Meagan, Lauren and Kelli and numerous sisters and brother in-laws and their families. Mike left us too soon, but will live on forever in our hearts. Because of Mike's gift, someone else will see the light. Pallbearers, Wade Scott, Keith Smith, Rick Tieken, Alan Younger, Eddie Deary, Alfredo Lara, Romero Garza, and Toby Caballero. Honorary Pallbearers, Janet Owen, Gene Smith, Jimmie Joe Jefferies, Tommy Barrett, Joe H. Morin, Darrell Raymond, Paul Caballero, and Kris Eckert.
