Michael Milligan Obituary

Michael John Milligan passed away on October 22, 2024 after a long, courageous battle with Cancer and Parkinson's. He was born in Flemington, NJ on July 20, 1961 to Elaine Michel (Trachtenberg) and Vernon Cecil Milligan. He graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1984 and worked for Sun Microsystems and Oracle Corp from 1984 until his passing. He married Lisa (Kennedy) in 1990 and they spent nearly 35 years together. He was the proud father of Kyle (Sydney) Milligan and Kendall (Adam) Kocina; as well as grandfather to Jackson, Owen, Harper and Makena. He took pride in being a father and grandfather and took joy in knowing that his legacy would live on through them. Mike is survived by his wife Lisa, family mentioned, and his sister Lori Moore (John), his in laws and the many nieces & nephews he loved and adored. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is so missed by all who knew him but we believe he has finally been released from his struggle with cancer and Parkinson's and is no longer in pain.
