Sylvia: For as much that you have expressed of Milton to me over the years and what Paula related to me of him on her visit with you all . . . he appeared to be one heavenly man who loved life and people to the fullest. I am sure he will be missed of everyone who knew him, but the Lord had need of him in a place where there is no more suffering or pain. A place where he will never know anguish or shed a tear again, but he will have complete wholeness of body in the persence of the Migthy God and Savior of Milton. He has gone before us to that place of promise and is awaiting those he loves. But right now he is enjoying life everlasting! And, for that we can praise our Lord and Maker!

Dear Dottie and family - Having just lost my dad last week, I know that this is a difficult time for you all. Know that there are many who care about you and will offer love, prayers, and support to you at all times. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

I have so many great memories of MITT while growing up as a teenager with my best friend Mike Shepperd , Dottie , and Rusty. We (Mike and Myself) would always have the greatest time visiting and listening to stories of his (Mitts) great hunts or his new guns or his adventures with his brothers. He was one of a kind person, i cant remember him ever having a harsh thing to say about any one. He would with that laugh always offer me any thing he could to help if at all possible. He will be greatly missed,he was a fine person as well as all of the SHEPPERD families are. Barry Hand

Uncle Mitt was one of a kind, always happy with a good story to share. I had the pleasure of several visits with him in the past few years and even when he was not feeling so hot, you'd never know it. He had a sense of humor and a great laugh. He'll be missed...
