Nancy Crawford Obituary

Nancy Rose Hudson Crawford
09/30/1942 - 11/06/2025
Nancy Rose Hudson Crawford passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of grace, kindness, and quiet strength. Born on September 30, 1942, Nancy lived a life filled with love, faith, family, and adventure.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Oliver "Ollie" Crawford, her mother Ruth Hudson, brother Bobby Hudson, and stepdaughter Lynda Crawford.

A woman of deep faith, Nancy served as a Deacon in her church and volunteered at Meals on Wheels, the Women's Crisis Center, and local animal shelter, where her compassion touched many lives. Always an elegant and beautiful soul, she modeled throughout her professional career and later served as a secretary for a prominent oil company, including work at the Texas State Capitol and as personal secretary to the Governor of Texas.

Nancy also had a spirit of adventure, once taking a thrilling flight in a U.S. Air Force T-38 Talon, capturing her zest for life and fearless curiosity.

She is lovingly remembered by Ollie's children… Alan (Sherri) Crawford, Carolyn Pederson, and the late Lynda Crawford… and by their families, who knew her as their Grandmother and "Nancy Bear." She also leaves behind her niece Ashley Hudson and great-niece Maddy Hudson, as well as extended family and dear friends.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." – Matthew 25:23

A private service for Nancy's family and friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blanco Methodist Church or the Animal Defense League of Texas in her honor. A full obituary and memorial page may be found at www.online-tribute.com/NancyCrawford.
