1946 - 2018

SORIANO, Noberta A. On June 9, 2018, God called a beautiful soul to Heaven. Our loving mother, Noberta A. Soriano, 71, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Our mother was born December 16, 1946 in Port Lavaca, TX. Mom was such a loving, outgoing, and selfless person who gave what she could and helped whoever she could. Mom enjoyed time with her family, children, grandchildren, and especially her church family who she loved so much. She also enjoyed cooking and walking. Most of all, she loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and her church family at Maranatha where she has attended since 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberto Arroyo and Julia Arroyo Ramirez; her husband Samuel H. Soriano; daughter Elizabeth Soriano. She is survived by her daughters, Ester Luna, Rafaela Benavides, Sandra Benavidez, Christine Aguilar, Angie Godinez, Julia Soriano, Lori Calderon, and Irene Soriano; sons, Edward Perez, Samuel Soriano Jr, Manuel Soriano, John Soriano and Joel Soriano. She was a loving mother to 14 children. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will always be remembered as "A Bright Shining Star". We will miss you Mom. We love you always and forever. Funeral Services will be held at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail Austin, Texas 78745. Viewing will be Friday June 15, 2018 6pm-8pm. Funeral Services will begin 10:00am, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Harrell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Isaiah 26:19 But those who die in the LORD will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy!
