Norma Edward Cameron McClellan

Norma Edward Cameron McClellan Norma Edward Cameron McClellan passed from this life on October 6, 2007, at the age of 76, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Royle McClellan; her son, Shawn Royle McClellan; her daughter, Susan Cameron McClellan; and her sister, Marie Belle Cameron Morasch. She was a native New Orleanian, a longtime member of St. Patrick's Parish, and an artist, having studied at Newcomb College of Tulane University under master printmaker and sculptor James L. Steg. At the time of her death, she was a resident of San Marcos, Texas, having lost her home of some 36 years to the flood waters of Hurricane Katrina. In spite of this and many other trials, she lived with grace and faith and will be sorely missed. A wake will be held at Pennington Funeral Home, San Marcos, Texas, October 9, 2007, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Church, San Marcos, Texas, October 10, 2007, 10:00 a.m., to be followed by the burial at San Marcos City Cemetery.
