Olga Bies "A glory has passed from the earth..." On February 27, Rudolph had to release his treasured beauty of 66 years. Daugthers, Paula Bies Todd and Patricia Beene; and sons, Randy and Rudy Bies, Jr. let go of their cherished mother's hand and placed it in the hand of Christ, our Lord. Olga possessed no thought for self but glowed with a singular humility and holiness. Her pure coloratura soprano voice sings forever in our hearts. The world is an empty shell without her and we yearn to join her in Heaven. We always suspected she was not of this earth. Now we know. In addition to her husband and children, Olga is survived by her daughters-in-law, Deirdre Bradley Bies, Nancy McGunagle Bies, and son-in-law, James Beene. Seven surviving grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren "rise up and call her blessed". Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday February 28, 2008 with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home 607 E. Anderson Lane Austin, TX 78752. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday February 29, 2008 at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home, with Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
