Before Rev. Pearl Foster moved to Austin, she was a resident of Dickinson, Texas. As a child,I would see Rev. Foster playing the piano at St. James A.M.E. Church, and listening to her as she sang "We shall be rejoicing "Bringing in the Sheaves". I shall always remember how Rev. Pearl Foster graced our home whenever she came to visit with us in Dickinson. She was an eloquent woman in her mannerism as well as speech. She was one of my mother dearest friends. What a legacy Rev. Foster has left us all-- one of a lifetime of faith and trust in; a servant of; and a witness of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
