Peter GONZALES Obituary
Peter Gonzales passed away on February 28, 2015. He was born in San Antonio, TX to Maria Luisa Campos and Raul Gonzales.
He is survived by wife of 52 years Marsha Gonzales, son Mark Gonzales, daughter Mary Gonzales and the loves of his life his granddaughters Laina and Haley Gonzales. He is also survived by his brothers Louie and Roy Gonzales and his sisters Lupe Alcala, Michelle Lara and Margie Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents Maria Luisa Campos and Raul Gonzales.
Peter retired from the USAF at Bergstrom AFB after 20 years of service and was very proud to be a Vietnam veteran. He made his home in Austin. He loved Austin and the Longhorns. Peter was also a 32nd Degree Mason and later in the "Mini B" unit of the Ben Hur Shrine Temple. He also belonged to the Elks Lodge and always looked forward to the fun and camaraderie.
As a husband, father and big brother, Peter always put his family first. He had many friends and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed.
Pall bearers will be Tony Gonzales. Michael Gonzales, Adam Lara, Roy Ornelas, and Rick Gonzales.
Honorary pall bearers will be Louie Gonzales, Mark Gonzales, Mary Gonzales, Laina Gonzales and Haley Gonzales.
