He was a good man. I wish I'd known him better but such was not our fate. I'm sure his family miss him greatly. My dad passed away too so I know the feeling.
I was once a part of the family.

Although I have known Raymond and his family all of my adult life, it was only in the last three years that I have gotten to know how compassionate, sincere and loving he was. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. It was my pleasure to share the last three years of his life with him and his family. I want his entire family to know that I truly share in your sorrow. I will miss him immensely.

To the family of Raymond Sanchez, please accept my condolences for your loss of such a fine person. I was saddened and depressed but I know he has joined his wife in heaven. I served with Raymond aboard the USS Saranac in the Pacific during World War 2. He was an intelligent and accomplished sailor. Years later, at attendance at our ship's crew reunions, it was so great to see him. His birthday parties in Austin brought all of his family, my son and me, and Raymond as well, great joy. Raymond's family and friends will always remember Raymond as a wonderful, hard working, religious man. Untill we meet again, old sailor. E Robert "Bob" Miller, Esquire. Temple Terrace, Florida

My sincerest sympathies to the Sanchez family.
I met Mr. Sanchez when my aunt Esther Cavazos was in the hospital after her brain aneurysm. The Sanchez's are close friends of my Uncle Louis and Aunt Esther.
That day at the hospital, Mr. Sanchez talked to me about my Dad. He knew my dad when they were young and talked about times they spent together. This touched my heart so much that i never forgot Mr. Sanchez.
My only regret is that i was not able to see him before his death to tell him how much i appreciated his fondness for my Dad and the Saucedo family.
He was truly a gentle caring man.
May all your fond memories sustain you now and forever.
