Dear Aunt Mary and Shiela,
I'm very sorry that Uncle Rene passed away. I will miss him very much. I will always remember that when ever I went to your, house he would always show me the hook'em horns sign. I used to not be interested in football, but now I love it and it's all thanks to Uncle Rene.

Since learning of Rene's death, I have shared the information with many of my coworkers here at Air Liquide. One of the first things that people say is what a gentleman Rene was; he was such a nice and kind man. Truer words were never spoken. Rene was a friend as well as a coworker. I loved listening to his stories about his granddaughters. He was so proud of them. He loved you all dearly and everyone could tell because of the way he spoke about you. Rene made the world a better place and will be greatly missed.

I don't know where to begin. I can't imagine the pain each of you are experiencing after having lost such a great husband and father. As you know, I worked with Rene for over 20 years and he has provided me with over 26 years of friendship and wonderful memories.

I have good memories of Rene while working with him at Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE-Air Liquide) at Seamist. I will always be reminded of his GENTLENESS most of all, and devotion to his work, family and church. I am glad he had a chance to retire back with his family and enjoyed the remaining active years with them. He will be missed but I know in my heart that he is now in a better place with the Lord! As a personal Spiritual Bouquet offering, I am offering 7 masses, 7 Holy Rosaries, 7 Holy Communion and a Visit to the Blessed Sacrament for his intention.

I only worked with Rene briefly but I know he was a great man and was one of the key people responsible for starting up the Air Liquide Spec Gas Lab in Laporte. I thank him for his all of his work and I know he will be missed by all of his coworkers, family and friends.

I remember Rene when I worked and started at Big Three his smile I will always remember he never had a frown I ask one time what makes you so happy he replied I have no reason to frown and I remember that so now he inspired me to smile no matter whats going on just remember its no ones else fault just trust that it will work out May God Bless the family this is my prayer
