RIP, Little Ricky - I met Rick in the late 70s when we both worked at Austin State Hospital. He was a wonderful and generous friend, helping my wife and I through hard times, including taking us to spend Christmas with his family. We moved away from Austin more than 30 years ago, but returned in 2007 and visited with Rick. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met, and my wife and I will always miss him!

I was shocked to read about his death. We were neighborhood friends and school mates. My condolences to his family.

My family was blessed to have Ricky as an "extended" family member. We loved him dearly, and laughed with him often. Truly a blessing to know him.
