Marni, thank you for calling me about Word's passing. Emily and I recall many happy moments we spent with the two of you and I have good memories of years of friendship with Word developed at A & M. We will miss him greatly.

Marian:
Word and I were friends all thru A&M and went into the army together. Later, we served together in the Pentagon on the Army Staff. I am saddened and shocked at hearing of his death. I plan to attend his interment at FSHT on the 26th, if that's al right with you.
Sincerely,
Bob Blake '58
