Just learned of Dr. Ehrlich’s passing. He was all the wonderful qualities his son stated in the obituary. As a new parent of an 18 month old adoptee from Korea, Dr. Ehrlich was so helpful in soooo many ways (and saved our sons life)! His Christmas parties for his patients was definitely above and beyond what a Dr. normally does. He was wonderful.

Dr Ehrlich was my cardiologist when I was 10 years old. I was often treated a Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn NY by him and his soon to be wife and nurse, Merrilee. His confident nature was a source of reassurance to me. I am sad to hear of his passing. May he Rest In Peace.

always kind, always confident. He would exemplify the meaning of being a doctor. Teaching, caring, being there thru every night. He taught me the true meaning of caring for my patients. He was the heart of the PICU.

Truly sorry to learn of Dr. Ehrlich's death.

He was an inspiration as a teacher, a most dedicated brilliant physician, a wonderful man and a great mentor. As one of his nurses I was in awe of his relentless work ethic and compassion for his little patients. I witnessed his tenderness with them and his tears of sorrow when his efforts failed. He mentored me and was a huge part of my decision to change careers and become a doctor.

A light has gone out in the world. Heaven has gained an angel.

Bob was an outstanding physician, teacher, colleague and friend. He was kind and devoted to his patients and their families, fighting for them, often day and night. He would never give up when there was the slightest hope for recovery and he saved many lives. We missed him greatly when he left MCO and Toledo. He also had a great sense of humor. His legacy will endure and we will keep remembering and celebrating him.

Our deepest sympathies to his loved ones.

Bob was a sweet and kind man. I think I'll always remembering him standing over the stove making matzo Brie. He said it was his favorite but was willing to share some . Susan, you were a most dedicated and loving partner. You were always there for him and shared many great times. You were a perfect compliment.Bob will be missed by all who knew him.
