My deepest sympathies to Bob's family. I met Bob in 1962 when I went to work for Humble/Exxon, and we have kept in touch via email all these years. I will miss him very much.

I always remember Bob's ready smile and chuckle whenever we would meet. It was something welcoming and very special. I still grin with the memory of Bob and I trying to play doubles at the Landman's tennis tournament. Somehow he carried us through for the win in our division, but the effort took so much out of him I had to carry him off the courts. We laughed about it for weeks. We've lost a good man. May he rest in peace. I'll always carry the great memory of that smile.
