We are so sad to hear of Dr. Snider’s passing. He was a kind neighbor and an engaging and interesting man. I was always comforted to look out in the evening and see the light in his upstairs window. We will miss his light on Northwood Road.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Bob Snider. I worked with him on and off for many years at Seton and then South Austin Hospital. I will always remember some of the stories he shared with me about his early days after the WW2, his days in medical school in Galveston, meeting Vi, and starting his career in Austin. I will miss him.

What a great man and a monumental loss. I will always treasure our talks about the old days of Brady and Brownwood. My heart goes out to his family. May God give you comfort.

Bob and Vi...what a couple! Each was a “piece of work”, and I was privileged to call each one my friend. The picture is from July 2014, when Cindy Liverman, Cyndy Smith and I had lunch with Bob. What a treat! Incredible man.

Bob Snider gave me the opportunity to be become Austin’s first Neuroradiologist in one of the best Radiology groups in the country. He was a fair minded, kind, good-natured family man, who I will always remember fondly and with gratitude. My condolences to the family. -Rodney D. Schmidt
