Sandra Lairsen Obituary

Sandra "Sandy" Hill Lairsen, age 71, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2023, surrounded by family and God. She was born May 7th, 1951 in Dallas, Texas to John Wade Hill Jr. and Mary Parks Hill. She was a 1969 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas, TX. Sandy had a wonderful and interesting life in which she held many professions. She was in the garment business, marina business, real estate business and notably owned and operated Sandeez Hamburger Hut in Lakeway, TX from 1994-2019. She loved to travel, be on the water or beach, garden, spend time with friends and family. She was very driven; she had an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep desire to succeed at life and to help others to do the same. Her impact on her family, friends and community was profound and meaningful. She will be deeply missed by so many.

She is survived by her son, Travis Lairsen; her brother, Bob Hill; her stepson, John Lairsen III; her stepdaughter, Jennifer Lairsen and her two sons, Jax & Jordan LaFlair; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

A celebration of Sandy's life will be held on May 7th, 2023 (her birthday) at www.TheLakeTravisHouse.com, 16200 E. Lakeshore Dr., Austin, TX 78734 starting at 6pm; food and drinks will be provided. All that knew and loved her are encouraged to attend.
