I loved every photo of Sibby, his family, and friends. A very good job to David and Val. Beautiful life Sibby had of 93 years! I am very happy that I was a part of his life as a friend as well as a patient. My Deepest Sorrow and Love to All of the Vitanza Family.

On behalf of the Armbruster family, I would like to extend our sincere condolences to the Vitanza family. Dr Vitanza treated us for everything from encephalitis, scarlet fever, osgood slaughters disease, tonsil removal, poison ivy, broken bones, and other illnesses. There were 6 kids in our family and he took care of all of us, including my parents, and never referred us to a "specialist." He made house calls when he deemed it necessary. I remember being scared to death in a hospital room and, after DR Vitanza entered the room, my fears went away. He had a very nurturing manner that we loved and appreciated. He is loved by all of us and we will never forget him.

God bless all the Vitanzas. I loved your father's smile and warmth. I am glad I got to know him these past few years at the Q. He was always smiling and happy when I would see him in the dining room or taking his daily walks in the hall. Many blessings and peace.

My sympathies to the Vitanza family. "Dr. V was my doctor from my younger years thru my college years. He was more than just a doctor to so many. My mother and I were just talking about him last month about how they don't make Dr,'s like him anymore. Rest in peace "Uncle Sib".

My condolences to the Vitanza family. Dr. Vitanza brought me into this world in 1965 and remained my physician as I grew up. He and his staff were always so kind. On the the occasions I would see him in the store or hospital, prior to my moving away in 1995, he would hug me and tease me asking how his little Indian Princess was doing & then say that he still remembered the day I was born. It always made me feel special.

Dear David,
You may remember me, Fr. Dan Kresinski, your freshman religion teacher at Cathedral Prep. I extend to you and your Mother and sister and all the family my prayerful sympathy. When I first met you in 1970, I thought of the meaning of your name --- Vitanza comes from "vita" in Italian meaning "life". Your father's very long life was full of happiness and much service to others. He died as one year was ending and another was beginning. Now his new life with the Lord starts. May God bless you all.
Fr. Dan Kresinski,

I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Vitanza brought me into this world in the 60s, and remained our family doctor until retirement. He helped me through surgeries, house calls..and just being a teen. He was an amazing doctor and man. He touched many lives. Sending prayers and healing thoughts.

Have fond memories of Dr. Vitanza. He alwasy was compassionate and provided sound advise. The Helfand family (Ted, Saul & Harold) lived better lives because of his care.

My deepest sympathy to the Vitanza family,
Dr. Vitanza was by far the best Dr. I have ever had, although a child when I first encountered his deep compassion to help people, he was always there with a smile on his face and made me feel comfortable and safe;,my family continued to see him on Pine Ave. until his retirement and we missed him so.
Thank you for your years of service not only as a physician but also in the Armed forces.
The journey is yours to explore and to share your many talents

Dr. Vitanza was my family physician when I was a child. 30 years later I still remember his humor and kindness. My mother always spoke highly of Dr. Vitanza and his daughter. What a beautiful obituary that was.
