Sisto Perez Obituary

If you asked a hundred people who Sisto Ybarra Perez was, they'd all give you a different story. Sisto was the best Tejano dancer in Austin, TX, a charismatic story teller, a loyal father, son, and brother. A one of a kind soul that would help his relatives and friends when they needed him, even strangers. He had a unique sense of humor, Sisto was one of a kind soul. He was born on July 11th, 1964 to his father Valentine Sr. and Hope Perez. Sisto passed away on September 25th, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Sisto Ybarra Perez is survived by his children, Sisto Jr. and Steven Perez. Gloria Ann Perez-Solar, Sarah Morrow, Malia and Lhila Perez, and his granddaughter Elloé Ann Morrow. His siblings Manuel and his wife Mary, Danny, Rose, and countless family members. Sisto is at peace now after his long battle with cancer. He will be missed by all who are impacted by him.



Visitation Services will be held on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 from 5 to 9 pm, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday, September 30th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. Guillermo Aguilar Officiating at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin Texas 78702
