Stacy Danielson Obituary

DANIELSON, Stacy Kaye Stacy Kaye Danielson received her angel wings on Friday, July 27, 2018 after a two-year battle with colon cancer. Stacy was born on August 9, 1977 in Austin Texas. She is survived by her sons, Lane Wesley Danielson, age 12, and Luke Peyton Danielson, age 10; parents, Kirk and Sandy Lawrence, sister, Sherri L. Stone, niece, Sydney Stone, and nephew, Shawn Brayden Stone, the boys' father, Bobby Danielson; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. After graduation from Lanier High School, she attended Kilgore College and performed with the famous Kilgore Rangerettes, then received a Bachelor's Degree from Southwest Texas State University. Stacy's entire teaching legacy was with the Cedar Park High School Timberwolves and the Celebrities Dance Team. In her short 40 years on earth, Stacy (Mrs. D, as her students called her) touched many young lives. She defined what it meant to be selfless in her devotion to her students. She taught them what it meant to be a team, and even more importantly, she taught them what it meant to be the absolute best versions of themselves. Over the years, it was not at all uncommon to hear the following expressed by her students: You define the quote that goes something like this - People don't remember the things we say but they remember the way we make them feel. "You made me FEEL loved, special, important, trusted, seen, and like a friend. I will be forever thankful because you influenced my life, and I am a better person because of you." She was also described as "courageous, brave, determined, strong, gracious, and joyful" during her two-year battle with cancer. Stacy loved her boys, family, friends, Rangerette and Kilgore College friends, the Rock Stars, the entire Cedar Park High School and Leander ISD community. The former and present Celebrities were her pride and joy. She was so happy for their success as an individual and as a team. She was grateful and appreciated all the prayers, help with the boys, meals, gifts, cards, corn for her deer, and visits. She was truly honored by the overwhelming love she received. Memorials may be made to: Lane and Luke Danielson Fund, Kilgore College Stacy Kaye Danielson Scholarship Fund, CPHS Scholarship Fund. A Celebration of Stacy's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, 1004 North Mays Street Round Rock, TX 78664, with a reception to follow.
