It is hard to believe it has been 6 years. Steve was a good man. It was an honor to have served with him in Vietnam. I hope his family is doing well.

I met Steve thru my husband Hank (Henry James) who they both claimed were best friends since 2nd grade. To know Steve was to love him. I will never forget when he and Lana came to our wedding and Steve asked me "So who did you marry?" My answer was Huh? He asked me again and said did you marry Marvin or Henry or Hank? which one? I just pointed to Hank and said Him! we laughed about that many times. when we had lunch last year at Hills Café, I called my husband Hank and then Steve called him Henry and then told him " Jeez man I wish you would make up your mind who you are! That was Steve and we love the memories. RIP Steve, we'll see you again on the other side.

Steven and I were very close friends from the 2nd grade on. I loved you like a brother and will miss you greatly. So many times we emailed saying lets get together but we kept putting it off and didn't see each other that much. Our last time was lunch at Hills Café. RIP Steve. Some day we will see each other again in Heaven. I love you
