Dr.Sherman was my doctor for many years at South Austin Medical Center. I stumbled on his obituary today. He was a kind, caring physician. May he rest in peace.

Dear Cousin Terry (wherever you may be) and faily,
I did not know of your passing until I spoke to Aunt Joyce yesterday, and I was so sad to know. Even though we were virtual strangers since childhood, andI haven't seen you and your family since the family reunion in San Antonio I always felt a connection between us. I will always remember you at @ age 5, with your dog Blackie, saying you were going to be a doctor. And from what I hear a GREAT doctoryou were.
My condolences to Tara, Kathleen, your family, and friends.
Fondly,
Carla (now Maya) Brooke

To live a full life and find enjoyment for your hard work in assisting others is truly a reward (Ecclesiastes 3:12,13). To family and friends, may you find comfort in your memories.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr Sherman at South Austin Medical Clinic in the early 90's. Always a great coworker and physician. My deepest condolences.

Dr. Sherman was our family doctor for many years. Our parents was treated by him to begin with and then my brothers and I were his patients. We always appreciated his bed side manners, patience and genuine care for us as a person. Every time we had a appointment he made us feel important. Rest In Peace Dr. Sherman. God bless his family and friends.

I was a patient of Dr. Terry and he was my patient for several years. I could always talk to him about any particular medical problem and he would patiently listen and ask questions. I felt very comfortable with him and he was just as quiet and understanding as I treated any dental problems he may have had. He was as honest as the day is long. Never heard a negative word from him. He loved his daughter and it is sad to think he will not see his grandson. Terry always had a little mischievous smile when we saw each other. I am very glad I knew him. My wife was a patient of his for a while, also, and we both are so sad to see him go.

Terry was a kind colleague with a wry, quiet sense of humor. I was a new doctor at South Austin Medical Clinic in 1997 and he was already a seasoned clinician. I still use a Welch Allyn headlamp he kindly gifted me over 20 years ago now. I will miss his sly smile and sense of humor most.
