My condolences to all that loved Theresa. Belatedly,I learned of Theresa going on the next step of the journey of life. I am sad. She and her father "Adopted " me when Theresa and I were in 5th grade at Yates Elementary on Lexington. I will never forget the immense kindness that they showed to me. In fact. I still have a beautiful porcelain vase that "Daddy George" gave each of us at Easter time. I take a picture of it. Truly Theresa made a big difference in my young life. We didn't write each other after 7th grade, do time lost the connection.
Please know that you are in my heart and will be in my prayers. I remember that Theresa shared with me her book about Amelia Earhardt. She was way ahead of us with her curiosity and was always reading. In fact, we met when we were both student library assistants. Will plant a tree.
