Virginia FINDEISEN Obituary

FINDEISEN, Virginia
Virginia (Ginny) Hill Findeisen, of Austin, passed away on February 19, 2016, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's.
Ginny was born on November 19, 1940, in Victoria, Texas, to Jefferson Davis, Jr. and Milda Dora (Reisig) Hill. She is preceded in death by her former husband, Allen G. Findeisen and both parents. Survivors include her sister, Mary Hitch, her partner Mary Doerr, son Michael Allen Findeisen and his wife Beatrice Findeisen, daughter Susan Denise Findeisen and 5 grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Glasenapp and Benjamin, Stephen, and Christopher Findeisen.
Ginny grew up in San Antonio, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where she later completed a Master's degree in Social Work. She was active in politics and women's issues as well as a partner in a successful art business, Images of Austin. She spent her retirement in the Texas hill country she loved at the Red Barn Ranch in Lometa, Texas.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 27th, at 1:00 p.m. at Austin Memorial Park in Austin. You are invited to sign the guest book at www.treshewell.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Tres Hewell Mortuary, 165 Tor Dr., Seguin, Texas, 78155, 830-549-5912.
