To the Bollman Family,

I extend my heart felt sympathy to you. I worked with Wayne at Lad - always answered questions with a smile - will certainly be missed.

Richard and I extend our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. I worked with Wayne at LAD and fondly remember him as always wearing a smile and always willing to listen and advise on the right course of action.

I often recruited Wayne to teach in our management development programs and he willingly shared his expertise, tips, advice, and wisdom with new managers. Through sharing the knowledge he gained over the years, Wayne saved these new managers from many of the trials and bruises that comes with learning through experience. As you can see from others' comments, much of what Wayne taught all of us continues to be used and shared with others now and in the future.

I also worked with Wayne at LAD. He was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He always had time for you, no matter what his work load was. My sincere sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Bollman Family,

I, too, worked with Wayne at the old Lockheed Austin Division from 1989 to 1995. I found him to be the gentleman's gentleman, always professional and considerate. I never saw him lose his good humor despite the considerable job pressures he was under. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to all of you.

I worked with Wayne at LAD. During this time I had several dealings with Wayne. They were always plesant and to the point. Wayne was a very loyal LAD employee. I have gained by knowing Wayne. I offer my condolences to all family members.

Dear Helen and family,

Wayne was a special person to me. I was in charge of the Payroll department for LAD, and he was my manager at the time I retired. I could always count on sound reasoning and advice. We made many headways for LAD and its employees. He never thought of his glass half empty but always full.

We worked for a short time together on the Lone Star Board until I moved to Florida.

I will always remember him for his honesty, integrity and plain down home friendship.

Sincerely,

Bob and Lara White

The Bollman Family

Wayne was a special person to so many people. He was always ready to share his knowledge with others; he was a teacher at heart. Wayne provided a great foundation for the startup of Lockheed Austin Division. He was a mentor to many and always made himself available to help others, never being selfish with his time. The world is a much better place because of the time Wayne spent on this earth. He will be missed by so many.

Dear Helen and family: Linda and I were saddened to hear of Waynes passing. You won't readily remember us but I was one of Wayne's first employees at LAD in 1982 and worked with him until '86 when we moved to Florida. He visited in our home many times during that first year and the two of you were at a surprise birthday party I threw for Linda 20 years ago this month and many others after that. Throughout the years I enjoyed seeing him when I was at LAD.

Wayne was indeed a special person, full of talent and love for his family and life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Someone at work has a caption on his emails that reads "Someday I hope to be half the person my dog thinks I am". Thats the way it was with Wayne. We all had a great deal of admiration for who Wayne was as a person and his unbiased respect for all others. That's a quality few have. From the first time I met Wayne back in the days of Sunnyvale and the MSD finance organization, he was always willing to put you at the top of his priorities. Looking back on those times, and the Austin Division are such great memories thanks to Wayne.

God Bless the Bollman family. My deepest sympathies

Dear Helen, I was so sorry to hear about Wayne this morning. Phil Hiller called me to find out what had happen. As you know, Wayne has been my Mentor and best friend for many years. For the last eight years here in Denver, I have missed being able to visit and talk with him except for short visits to Austin. I know that you and Nina will miss him greatly. I wish that I had been able to come done to visit more often, but I know that he always realized that it wasn't possible. He will always be in my mind and I will think of all of you often. I would like to come by and visit the next time I am in Austin.

With all of my love to you and my best friend.

Helen and family.

I was saddened to hear about Wayne's passing.

I worked for him for many years at LAD and would not be where I am today in my career if he had not taught me the important (vice unimportant) things about defense contract accounting and finance. He was a very focused man yet he really cared about his employees (Bill Cooper, Mickey Collins and me).

I send you my sincere sympathy. The loss of a loved family member is never easy but having it happen at this time of year is especially tough.

With deepest sympathy,
