I was a co-worker of Wayne's for over 20 years. I enjoyed working with him. I was part of a lunch get-together group with several other retiree's. Wayne would come up to the Richardson/Plano area once or twice a year for the lunch that he usually organized. We'd spend several hours discussing old times. Every time I 'd walk into the lunch restaurant, Wayne was there at our usual corner booth and he'd get a big grin on his face when I walked in. Sure will miss him. I just have to accept this is just part of getting old.
