W.C. Walker Obituary


Family-Placed Obituary

W.C. "Wib" Walker W.C. Walker, loving husband, father, and grandfather, age 79, passed away at his residence, Saturday, January 15, 2005, from complications due to diabetes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike W. and Maud Davison Walker; his brothers: W.A., Wayne, and James Walker; his sisters: Effie Dee Palmer, and Clytee Maltby. He is survived by his wife, Helen G. Jungman Walker of Austin; sons and daughters-in-law: Dan and Aleta Walker of Round Rock, Barry and Sherri Walker of Austin; brothers and sisters-in-law: Kenneth and Betty Walker of Natalia, Mike and Vicki Walker of Lytle, Jerry and Jane Walker of Lytle; sister and brother-in-law: Nancy and Bobby Morgan of San Antonio; grandchildren: Jenna and Lindsey Walker of Round Rock, and Stetson Brett Walker of Austin. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2005, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at the Hurley Funeral Home, Devine. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, also at the funeral home. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at St. Joseph s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph s Catholic Cemetery, Devine. The Family wishes to thank the Girling Health Care and Girling Hospice for all their loving care of our husband, father, and grandfather. Arrangements under the direction of Hurley Funeral Home, 303 W. College Ave., Devine, Texas 78016 (830) 663-4445.

He was a wonderful friend and neighbor. I will always cherish the memories I have of him. When I think of him I have to think of him calling me "Gravel Gurdy".
