We never had the pleasure of meeting Bill in person. We did business with him on the phone. We love his sense of humor and stories. We will miss him very much. God blessings to his family and loved ones. May they find peace through Him that gave us eternal life.

When I Graduated from UT Architecture School and Bill hired me in 1979 I was the Most Lucky Intern in the world. Bill taught me about design, conservation, construction and a philosophy about Architecture which I still follow to this day. I have always tried to be the Architect that Bill was and to pass on his credo and passion for Architecture to my interns and associates. My years working with Bill Scudder were the most important to me in my career and I will always be grateful and Remember my Mentor. Rest in Peace my dear friend

I loved Bill like a brother. We spent many happy days along with Dick Criss and Ray Thomas on various golf courses. The days when we played golf together at Horseshoe Bay and then ate dinner at Bill's condo and spent the rest of the day and evening sharing sea stories and the simple, deep, friendship of four men, are among the greatest memories I have of those years so long ago. Pat, Marianne, Michelle and Bill, my heart is filled with tears for your loss. Of the foursome, I am the last one left and I am unable to adequately express to you my sorrow for your loss. Bill was a great friend, one of the few men in my life that I can honestly put in that category. I pray that God will grant you peace. Semper Fidelis in Christ.
