We had the pleasure of getting to know Jerry by working with him from the mid 1970's until our retirements in 2005. He was such a hard worker, and was always one of the top company's salesmen. One of Jerry's top qualities was his energy and enthusiasm for everything that he did. One of our fondest memories, was that during the gas crisis, he stored gas cans at the warehouse, so he could continue his work , uninterrupted. He hated waiting in line at the gas station. At our company parties, it was so much fun to watch Jerry preforming his crazy dancing. The last time we saw Jerry was at his wedding in Canby. We simply loved the guy! We know how much he will be missed.

While working with the Oregon Dept. of Veterans Affairs I was fortunate to have worked with Jerry on several occasions and to run into him at various events. He had a passion for all veterans especially Vietnam Vets. His steadfast dedication and support for the Vietnam Veterans of Oregon Memorial was almost unsurpassed. One of my favorite photos was one he took of me and my late-mom singing the national anthem on Memorial Day 2011 at the VVOM. As Jerry always used to say to any veteran, Welcome Home. Will miss him!
