Kenneth Carr Obituary
March 1, 1977 - June 2, 2013
Kenny was born on March 1, 1977 in Maquoketa, Iowa. At the age of 4 his family moved to Salem, Or. He attended Mckay High School. After high school Kenny worked at various jobs throughout Salem. Kenny moved to Bellingham, Wa to attend Beauty School. He went on to receive his instructors license and taught cosmetology at the Beauty School. He taught and was an instructor at the school for 7 years. Kenny decided it was time to relocate back to Salem to be close to his mom and family. He began teaching at the college of hair design in Salem, Or. Family members said he was very passionate about his work and career. Kenny attended the Speak Easy Club here in Salem. Kenny will be most remembered for his many dancing and costume performances, with many groups of friends throughout his career. He received many awards throughout his career for his performances. Many friends will remember him and knew him as "Karma."
Survivors include his mother; Loretta, Step Father; Marlo. Sister's; Tami, Patsy, Jessica. Brothers; Bill, Kris. A Memorial Service to Celebrate his life will be held at 1pm Sat. June 15, 2013 at Keizer Funeral Chapel. A reception gathering will follow at his mother Loretta's home, 4666 Carolina Ave. NE Salem, Or 97305

I sure do miss Kenny. He was a great friend. He always was a great listener. When ever I needed someone to talk to He was there for me. That's what I miss about him most. Hope to see him some day when I cross over. Love you always Kenny!!
